Jaime Silva-Arroyo will not be charged with the second sexual assault that happened within minutes after he allegedly attempted to rape a young woman on Madison Avenue.

The woman from the attack was unable to positively identify Silva-Arroyo as her assailant, Bainbridge Island Police said Thursday.

The two sexual assaults occurred on Sunday, July 22.

After a 19-year-old woman was attacked near Ihland Way, a 53-year-old woman was groped further down Madison by an unknown man before he ran away on Bjune Drive.

Silva-Arroyo was identified as the man who allegedly attacked the first woman, prosecutors say. The descriptions of the assailants in both incidents were similar, but victim of the second assault was unable to positively identify her attacker.
