Planning department to be closed Friday

The Bainbridge Island Department of Planning and Community Development will be closed for annual cleaning on Friday, Aug. 3.

The closure is for the front counter at city hall; the planning department said inspections will be made as usual and most staff will be available by telephone or for previously scheduled appointments.
