Friends of the Farms needs help at monthly work party

Friends of the Farms is looking for volunteers to help at their monthly work party.

The next party is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 14.

The project will include maintenance of the irrigation system at Suyematsu and Bentryn family farms on Day Road, east of Highway 305.

A delicious, farm fresh lunch will be served at noon. Volunteers will meet at the berry stand at the farm; bring gloves.
