League announces five voter forums in July

The League of Women Voters of Kitsap will host five forums before the Aug. 7 Primary Election.

The series kicks off on Monday, July 9, with a forum featuring candidates for judge positions in Superior Court and the Court of Appeals. The event is 6:30 p.m. at the Norm Dicks Center, 345 Sixth St., Bremerton.

A forum with 6th Congressional District candidates is 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 10 at the Norm Dicks Center.

Kitsap County commissioner candidates will speak at a forum at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 12 at the Norm Dicks Center.

Candidates for state Representative, District 23, will participate in a forum at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 16 at Poulsbo City Hall.

The final forum, for candidates for state Representative, District 26, Position 1 and District 35, Position 2, will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 19 at the Norm Dicks Center.
