Maxine Harris, age 88
Maxine “Lida” Harris was born on December 30, 1923 and died at Bay Vista Commons in Bremerton on February 7.
She was born in Powers, Oregon to James and Laura Vasbinder. She had four sisters and three brothers. Lida grew up in Allyn, Wash. and lived there until she married Frederick Harris, her husband of 68 years.
Frederick preceded Lida in death January 2009. She is survived by her son Lane and daughter Linda Papineau, grandchildren Michael Hughes (Donna Hughes), Angela Lillie (Michael Lillie) and Tobin Harris, great grandchildren Amanda, Katrina and Nova Hughes, and great great grandchild Korben Carter.
