Donald Martin Erikson

Donald Martin Erickson of Poulsbo died from brain cancer on Feb. 26 surrounded by family and friends. He was born on Nov. 14, 1941 in Olympia to Howard and Elsie Erickson.

Don graduated from Franklin High School in Seattle in 1958. He and his wife JoAnn have been together since they were 14 and 15 years old. They were married in April 1960 and had three children.

Don worked for Puget Sound Energy for over 41 years. After retiring he and JoAnn traveled and spent winters in Arizona and Mexico.

He was preceded in death by mother Elsie; brothers Howie and Dale; and sister Eileen. He is survived by his wife JoAnn; three children, Lori Heins (Jim) of Poulsbo, Wade of Brewster, and Darin (Sue) of Silverdale; and eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild due any day.
