John Conrad Lamping

John Conrad Lamping died Feb. 18. He was 93.

He was born Dec. 28, 1916, in Seattle, to Evart and Mary Lamping.

He graduated from Queen Anne High School in 1934, and attended the University of Washington. He owned Lamping & Company Insurance in Seattle, selling the firm in 1958 and moving to Bainbridge Island, where he lived until 1977.

He is survived by a sister; four children; 16 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Per his request, there will be no services. Lewis Funeral Home is handling final details.
