Jerome B. Hayes, 81
Jerome B. Hayes died on Feb. 17. He was 81.
Jerry was a native of the Northwest, married 54 years to Susan Hayes (nee Lillie).
He was a 31-year resident of Bainbridge Island. Jerry served in the Submarine Service and retired as a U.S. Navy Commander. He was a member of St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his sister Meredith; and granddaughter Jenny.
He is survived by his wife Susan Hayes; children Pat Hayes (Sandy), Kathy Bogner (Doug), Jeff Hayes (Tami), Erin Berndt (Richard); grandchildren Stephanie, Emma and Sarah, Riley and Megan, Max and Xan, and a soon-to-be-born grandson; and his youngest sister Jackie.
