Louise Richer

Louise Richer, of Bainbridge Island, died on Aug. 17. She was 91.
She was born in Canon Falls, Minn., on April 28, 1917. Her mother was Gerthe Johnston; she lost her father, George Dahl, in World War I.
She was adopted by her stepfather and later moved to Everett, as Louise Soneson. She worked in her future brother-in-law’s bakery and married Allan Richer after World War II.
Since 1994, she had lived in an assisted living facility on Bainbridge. She had a loving heart and a warm disposition.
She is survived by her son, Michael Richer, and grandson, Zachary Richer.
