George W. Bunn

George W. Bunn IV, 51, of Bainbridge Island, died peacefully Aug. 10 at his home.
He was born Nov. 7, 1954, in Springfield, Ill., to George and Mary (Gillespie) Bunn and moved to Laguna Beach, Calif., in 1972.
He studied for two semesters at sea on the World Campus Afloat, visiting five continents and 29 countries. He graduated from Chapman College and lived for two years in Japan before returning to Laguna Beach to begin his fifteen year career in real-estate.
He moved to Bainbridge Island in 1989 and was diagnosed with brain cancer in 1990.
He enjoyed playing guitar and woodworking, and recently built two guitars.
He is survived by his wife Deborah and daughters Elizabeth and Mindy of Bainbridge Island; and siblings Francie Swindle, Sarah Moore and Andrew Bunn of Laguna Beach, Calif.
Services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Kitsap County or Furrytale Farm on Bainbridge Island.
