Margaret Joan Naples, 77, died April 29 at Island Health and Rehabilitation Center on Bainbridge Island.
She was born Jan. 12, 1929, on Staten Island, N.Y., to Edmond J. Kelly and Teresa O’Rourke.
She lived in Warwick, N.Y., for many years and had resided on Bainbridge Island for the past eight years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald V. Naples, in 1998; her son Donald V. Naples, Jr. in 1985; and her sister Irene Fogarty.
She is survived by her children, Nancy A. Naples of Storrs, Ct., Diane M. Naples of Poulsbo, Richard (Jane) Naples of Warwick, N.Y., David Naples (Susan) of Westtown, N.Y., Elizabeth Acaba (Ralph) of Groton, Mass., and Christine M. Little (Stephen) of Flemington, N.J.; sister Teresa (John) Rehm of New Jersey; brother and sister-in-law Aloysius and Rose Naples of Cape Cod, Mass.; and 17 grandchildren.
A memorial mass will be held at 9 a.m. May 9 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church on Bainbridge Island, with a reception to follow.
Interment will take place in Warwick, N.Y., with arrangements by Kass & Cook Family Funeral Home.
