Olive R. Young

Olive R. Young, 89, of Sandy Point, Wash., died Dec. 6 on Bainbridge Island.

She was born Sept. 5, 1916 in Junction City, Ore., to Walter F. Ryckman and Elva J. Carden.

She enjoyed gardening, relaxing on her patio and enjoying her ocean view, dogs and life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold L. Young. She is survived by her daughter, Karla A. (Charles) Holmes of Bainbridge Island.

At her request, no services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the Progressive Animal Welfare Society of Whatcom County.
