Kara Marie Charlot

Kara Marie Charlot, 16, of Poulsbo died peacefully Nov. 25 with her family by her side at Children’s Hospital in Seattle.

She was born Oct. 2, 1989, in Phoenix, Ariz., to Sherry and Larry Charlot.

She attended Poulsbo Jr. High School, where she enjoyed being a cheerleader and was an active member of the Spirit Squad despite her disability. She was also able to attend the national cheerleading camp.

She loved everything “girly,” enjoyed animals and was a big fan of Scooby-Doo.

She is survived by her beloved parents; brother Kristopher Charlot of Poulsbo; aunts Toni Carlson of Sacramento, Calif., and Jane Germano of Poulsbo; and grandmother Joyce Stuckey of Poulsbo.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Dec. 4 at the Abundant Life Four Square Church, 5610 Kitsap Way in Bremerton.
