Carol Jeanne Latshaw

Carol Jeanne Latshaw, 79, died Sept. 11 at Messenger House on Bainbridge Island.
She was born Sept. 15, 1925 to William and Carol Ogle in Ione, Wash.
She worked for many years as a sales associate in the retail industry. She moved to Bainbridge Island six months ago from Portland, Ore., to be near her family.
She was an avid golfer and dancer, and also enjoyed boating.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald W. Latshaw in 1992.
She is survived by her children Trent Latshaw of Vancouver, Wash., Janet Simons of San Jose, Calif., and Robin Ferguson of Bainbridge Island; and five grandchildren.
Private services are planned. Arrangements are by Kass & Cook Family Funeral Home.
