Edward Donald O’Neill

Edward Donald O’Neill, 65, of Bainbridge Island, died Aug. 28.

He was born Jan. 17, 1940 in Philadelphia, Pa., and moved to Bainbridge Island two months ago to be near his son Shawn O’Neill, who survives him.

He worked as a painting contractor for many years.

Private family services will be held. Arrangements are by Kass & Cook Family Funeral Home.

Dennis F. James, 60

Dennis F. James, 60, died Aug. 27 at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle.

He was born Nov. 6, 1944 in Australia, and was a resident of Perth. He was vacationing on Bainbridge Island when he suddenly became ill.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl James, of Perth.

Services will be held in Australia, with local arrangements by Kass & Cook Family Funeral Home.
