Timothy John Roza

Timothy John Roza, age 60, of Bainbridge Island died at his home May 18.
He was born Aug. 23, 1943, in Chico, Calif., to Louis and Eva Roza. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, he worked for Boeing and later earned a degree in education from Seattle University.
In 1973, Tim began work for the Washington State Department of Revenue as a revenue officer. He worked there 30 years. He was very dedicated to his job,
He enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping and traveling, woodworking, reading, astronomy, dancing, and especially science fiction.
He is survived by his wife, Diane, Bainbridge Island; one daughter, Tamera McCoskery, Bainbridge Island; and his “Number 1” grandson, Spencer .
A rosary will be said at 9:30 a.m. May 25, followed by the funeral mass at 10 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Bainbridge Island. Burial will be at Tahoma National Cemetery at 2 p.m.
Arrangements are under the direction of Kass Funeral Home.
