The Spartans’ first baseball game of the year, slated to begin Monday afternoon at 4 p.m., has been canceled due to inhospitable weather and poor field conditions.

Bainbridge was to host Bishop Blanchet for their first outing of the season March 13.

A makeup date was not immediately announced.
