Stellar Spartan duffer advances from District tourney

KENT – A single Spartan swung well enough to advance from the recent 2018 Seaking District 2 Girls Golf Championship.

Kendall Havill finished in 22nd place overall, with a total score of 89 (47 on the front nine, 42 on the back) at the tournament at Riverbend Golf Complex in Kent.

Adithi Anand of Redmond and Janine Surge of Holy Names Academy tied for first place (72).

The 3A Girls State Golf Championship will be held Tuesday, May 22 though Wednesday, May 23 at Indian Canyon Golf Course in Spokane.
