The Bainbridge High School varsity boys water polo team slogged to an 8-7 win against Mercer Island Thursday, Oct. 4 at the Bainbridge Aquatic Center.

Goals for Bainbridge were scored by Thomas Defawe, Max Eyrich, Sam Chapman, Harrison Villella and Gabe Nathan.

The Spartans stayed at home to host Newport Tuesday, and will next play on Bainbridge at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, against Puyallup.
