Spartans suffer fifth straight soccer loss to Braves

SEATTLE – The Bainbridge High varsity boys soccer team continued struggling through a difficult slump Wednesday, April 11, enduring their fifth straight loss, 3-1 against the Bishop Blanchet Braves.

The defeat dropped the island squad’s over all season record down to 3-6 (2-6 in conference). They are ranked 12th in the Metro standings.

The Spartans next returned home to host Eastside Catholic (4-4-1 overall) on Friday, April 13, then remained on their home turf to play against Cleveland on Wednesday.

They also played at home Wednesday, April 25 against Rainier Beach (1-8-0 overall).
