Spartans strike down Kennedy in Game 1 of State | Photo gallery

The Bainbridge High School boys water polo team took Tacoma by storm last week, ultimately snagging the second place spot in the state tournament.

They were bested in the final match by four-time champs, and tournament host school, Curtis.

Things began, however, on a decidedly different tone, as the Spartans swam, shot and scored their way to a comparatively easy victory over Kennedy Catholic High School in Game 1, on Thursday, Nov. 8.

The Review’s Luciano Marano was there, camera in hand, to capture the action. His favorite shots are collected here.
