Spartans stay strong at State gymnastics meet | Photo gallery

TACOMA – The Bainbridge Spartans gymnasts battled the best in the state at the Washington State Championships in girls gymnastics last weekend in the Tacoma Dome’s Exhibition Hall.

Bainbridge’s Kati Copper and Remi Rosencrans finished in the top 20 in the bars event for BHS.

Cooper finished in a three-way tie with a score of 8.975 for eighth place with Grace Cheng of Bellevue and Makayla Hui of Southridge.

Rosencrans finished in 15th place for the Spartans in the event.
