Spartans short 71-36 against R. Beach ballers

SEATTLE – The Vikings pillaged and plundered aplenty Wednesday, Jan. 17 as they scored a 71-36 victory against the visiting Bainbridge High School varsity girls basketball team.

The loss knocked the island team’s overall season record down to 7-8 (4-6 in conference play). They are ranked in third place in the Metro standings, behind Seattle Prep (first) and Bishop Blanchet (second).

The Spartans play their final home game of the year at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31 against Ingraham.
