Spartans flatten Franklin in varsity football

Friday the 13th proved to be an unlucky night for the Franklin Quakers.

But it was a happy Homecoming for the Bainbridge Spartans, as BHS drubbed Franklin 48-6 in varsity prep football in the Oct. 13 matchup.

The Spartans were never seriously challenged in the contest, and the victory was the second in a row for Bainbridge.

The team’s record now stands at 3-1 in Metro (4-3 overall).

The Spartans wrap up the regular season on the road in Seattle next Friday against Chief Sealth (3-1 conference, 5-2 overall).
