The varsity girls from Lakes High found themselves a bit in over their heads in water polo action against the Bainbridge Spartans.

The BHS varsity squad lambasted Lakes 14-5.

The Spartan JV team also had the Lancers’ number, and polished off their opponents 11-0.

In the varsity matchup at the Bainbridge Aquatic Center last week, Kristina DuPont led the Spartan offense with four goals.

Grace Carson and Frances Weller added three goals each, while Maja Carroll contributed two.

Kylie Jones and Vivian Morrow also scored for the Spartans.

In the JV battle, eight players put points on the board for Bainbridge.

Lila Schroer finished with three goals, while Ghenwa Ramadan added two more.

Julia Tlapa, Melony Bourgeois, Kylie Jones, Grace Pratt, Julia Weller and Carroll contributed one goal each.
