Spartan spring sports games begin Friday

First BHS spring games are Friday

The spring sports season at Bainbridge High School officially begins Friday, March 8.

A non-league home boys lacrosse match kicks off the season at 6:30 p.m. The Spartans face off against Issaquah.

Saturday is a big day for Bainbridge sports fans, with several teams set to hit the home field.

At 11 a.m. both the varsity baseball and track-and-field teams will enter their first competitions of the season.

The Spartans sluggers will host Gig Harbor at the school’s baseball field, and the annual Logan Relays Jamboree will take over the track.

Later, at 5 p.m., the stadium will see the year’s first soccer match, as the island boys take on North Kitsap.
