The Bainbridge Barbarians and Kitsap Renegade rugby clubs are partnering with Rugby Washington to host the first youth rugby sevens tournament on Bainbridge Island.

This tournment is planned for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 15 at Bainbridge High School and will feature more than 10 teams from across the Puget Sound and beyond.

Teams include both men and women participants ranging from seventh- and eighth-graders to junior varsity and varsity sides.

The event will take place at the north field at BHS (just past the baseball field) and is free and open to the public.
