Register now for fastpitch softball clinic

Bainbridge High Fastpitch Softball will its second annual Winter Skills Clinic for girls aged 7 through 14 on Saturday, Jan. 26.

The clinic, which will be conducted with support from Bainbridge Island Little League, will take place in the Lower Commodore Gymnasium at the high school.

The first session is for girls aged 7 to 9, takes place from 9 a.m. to noon.

The second session, for girls aged 10 to 14, is 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Both sessions will be led by the BHS varsity fastpitch team and coaches. Participates will run through fast-paced drills and games while learning the fundamentals of base running, fielding, throwing, batting and defensive stragedy.

There is a third session from 3:45 to 5 p.m. for pitchers and catchers of all ages.

To register for the clinic please go to the Bainbridge Island Little League Website (www.bilittleleague.org) and click the “Register” button, enter you and your child’s information, then follow the instructions for “Registering in an activity,” scroll down on the Registration Notes page to the 2019 Winter Softball Clinic and follow the instructions from there.
