BAINBRIDGE – Bainbridge High School’s vacant varsity head baseball coach position will be filled by Simon Pollack, according to school officials.

“We are working together to put together a quality coaching staff going forward,” said Kaycee Taylor, BHS athletic director.

“We are excited to have Simon taking the reins as the head coach. His experience with the program, baseball knowledge [and] connection with players and families will continue to be an asset in his new role,” Taylor said.

Winter workouts are already well underway, supervised by team captains with adult supervision.

Spring sports tryouts begin March 2.
