Panthers maul BHS girls 70-41 in hoops

The Bainbridge High School varsity girls basketball team fell to defeat 70-41 at home Wednesday, Dec. 19 against the visiting Seattle Prep Panthers.

Losing to the Panthers dropped the island team’s overall season record to 3-7. Bainbridge occupies the next-to-last spot in the Metro standings, ahead of only Nathan Hale (0-7 overall).

Seattle Prep is in second place, behind only the undefeated Garfield (8-0), with a season record of 7-1.

The Spartans remained at home to finish out the week against Franklin Friday, Dec. 21.
