A 4-0 shutout loss to O’Dea on the road Thursday, April 25, was an unpleasant cap on an otherwise stellar Spartan baseball season.

The Bainbridge High varsity squad’s loss during their last regular season outing left them with an overall record of 14-5 (10-5 in league play) and in the fifth-place spot in the Metro standings, behind Lakeside, O’Dea, Ballard and Eastside Catholic.

The island squad’s first postseason game took place at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, at Eastside Catholic High School, against Bishop Blanchet (9-6 in conference).
