Island grappler nabs second place

CENTRALIA – Bainbridge club wrestler Zane Divelbess took second place at the recent freestyle state tournament in Centralia.

Zane, a fourth-grader, competed in the 67-pound division, according to Coach Dan Pippinger, losing his second match, but winning his next three by 10-0 tech falls to get into the second-place match.

There, he defeated Mason Desrochers 12-2 to snag the No. 2 spot overall.
