Island boys sweep Rainier Beach in soccer 2-0

The Bainbridge High varsity boys soccer squad scored a 2-0 shutout against Rainier Beach at home on Thursday, April 4, leaving them with an overall season record of 4-3-1 (3-3-1 in conference).

The Spartans are ranked seventh in the Metro standings. Lakeside remains in the league’s top spot (8-0 in conference), Roosevelt (7-0-1) in second and O’Dea (6-2) in third.

Bainbridge was scheduled to again play at home on Thursday, April 11, against Roosevelt, and will next host Franklin at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 18.
