HNA powers past Bainbridge girls

Holy Names Academy dispatched the Bainbridge Spartans in girls varsity volleyball late last week in Seattle.

The Cougars claimed a 3-0, three-set win over Bainbridge during the Spartans’ final regular season road game.

Bainbridge finished the season at Bainbridge 3-12 overall (1-9 in Metro).

Post-season play now starts with the 2019 3A Metro League Volleyball Tournament, starting Friday, Nov. 1 and running through Saturday, Nov. 9. The finals will be hosted by Chief Sealth High School.

Bainbridge will play Nathan Hale (7-3, 7-5) in the first round at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5 at Seattle Prep.
