Bainbridge blasted the Beavers 16-6 in girls varsity lacrosse earlier this week in Ballard.

Seven Spartans scored in the matchup. BHS was led by Kendal Havill, who finished with five goals and four assists.

Eleanor Collins added three goals and an assist for Bainbridge. Bella Jackson, Lauren Pujolar and Madeleine Sherry scored two each, and Eleanor King and Abby Reibsamen finished with one goal apiece.

The Spartans lost the battle for ground balls, with 18 to Ballard’s 19, but made up for it by taking 17 draws over the Beavers’ combined total of five. Bainbridge also had six caused turnovers; Ballard, just two.
