Chapman pours it on against Snohomish in girls LAX win

SNOHOMISH – The Spartans doubled up Snohomish 14-7 in girls varsity lacrosse late last week at Glacier Peak High.

It was the Spartans’ second win of the season.

Mackenzie Chapman outscored Sammamish by herself, with eight goals in the contest.

She also had an assist, one ground ball, 10 draws and a caused turnover.

Kendall Havill added three goals for the Spartans.

Maggie Sweeney contributed two goals and four assists to the BHS win, and teammate Eleanor Collins finished with a goal, as well.

Spartan goalie Thuy Ortiz stopped three shots on goal, and ended the night with a save percentage of 30 percent.

The Snohomish offense was led by Arianna Crusha, who finished with a hat trick.
