The Bainbridge High varsity boys swimming & diving team from the 2018-19 season has been awarded first place in the National Dual Meet Team Rankings by the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association of America.
The team won first place in Class 2 Boys Public Schools, with a total of 5,652 power points.
The team’s ranking put it first in the nation for schools that have 900 to 1,400 students.
The 2018-19 BHS swim team, also the winners of the Washington state 3A title last year, was coached by Kaycee Taylor.
