BHS boys go bust against Rainier Beach hoopsters

SEATTLE – The Bainbridge High varsity boys basketball team was defeated 85-36 by the hoop-happy ballers of Rainier Beach Tuesday, Jan. 16.

It was the island squad’s fifth straight loss after bested Inglemoor during a holiday tournament at Bellevue College, and dropped their overall season record to 4-11 (0-11 in league).

The Spartans are ranked in the bottom spot of the Metro standings. They next play at home at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30 against Ingraham, their final home game of the year.
