BHS boys go 1-for-1 in basketball

SEATTLE – Win some.

Lose some.

The Bainbridge High varsity boys basketball team did exactly that in their first two outings of the season.

First, against Port Angeles, the Spartans inched to a 58-53 win on Tuesday, Nov. 28.

Then, against Bishop Blanchet, the island squad was bested 49-34.

The team then played on the road again, against Garfield, on Tuesday, Dec. 5, before returning to host their first home game of the year at 8:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8 against Franklin.
