BHS boys beat Ballard 126-88 for golf win

BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge High boys varsity golf team bounced back from their first — and so far only — loss of the year to claim a 126-88 win against the visitors from Ballard Wednesday, Oct. 4.

The win nudged the Spartans’ overall record to 6-1.

Spartan senior Andy Becker led the team’s scoring efforts, shooting a 35 on the Par 35 course at Wing Point Golf & Country Club.

No other player on either team shot below a 40.

Tad Grindeland shot 41 and Brooks Lierle, Jasiah George and Parker Loverich each shot 42 for the Spartans.
