The Spartans shelled the Seahawks 19-4 in girls varsity water polo as Bainbridge opened the season with a lopsided victory against Peninsula at home late last week at the Bainbridge Aquatic Center.

The Spartans’ offensive output came from six players in Bainbridge’s first league game.

Grace Carson led all scorers with seven goals, while her Spartan teammate Frances Weller scored six against the Seahawks.

Annabelle Hill finished with a hat trick for another three, while Jillian Webb, Trudy Rimbault and Alex Miller added one goal each.
