BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge High School varsity baseball team upset a seemingly budding slump Monday, March 26, claiming an 8-4 win against the visitors from Garfield.

The win upped the island squad’s overall season record to 2-3 (1-0 in conference), earning them the sixth-place spot in the Metro standings.

In the lead is Ingraham (6-1 overall), followed by Ballard (6-2).

The Spartans followed up the win with a two-game road series, and will return home to host Cleveland at 4 p.m. Monday, April 2.
