Back-to-back wins reset struggling Spartan girls

SEATTLE – Two recent wins, one at home and one the road, in two days seemed to reset the middling start of the Bainbridge High varsity girls basketball season.

First, the Spartans swept past Franklin 59-36 in their first home court appearance Friday, Dec. 8.

Next, the island squad stomped Sequim 49-29 on the road on Saturday, Dec. 9.

The back-to-back wins elevated the team’s overall season record to 3-3 (1-2 in conference).

The Spartans next played at home Wednesday, Dec. 13 against Lakeside (2-2 overall).
