MID-SEASON REVIEW: No let-up in Spartan offense as girls lacrosse eyes top prize

Same as it ever was, but slightly smaller. The Spartan girls lacrosse team started the season with the same lofty goal as ever — an appearance in the state championship game and a shot at the state title — but Bainbridge has also found itself with a diminished roster that’s put BHS in a bit of a rebuilding mode.

BAINBRIDGE - One for the thumb. The Spartans finished last week’s schedule with their fifth shutout win of the season, with a 3-0 victory over the visitors from South Kitsap Friday.

Bainbridge beats Ballard in lacrosse

The Bainbridge High varsity boys lacrosse team gave the Metro newcomers from Ballard High a fine how-do-you-do last Wednesday and brought home a 16-4 conference win from the road.

BHS bests Roosevelt 9-2 in varsity tennis

SEATTLE - The Spartans came back in a big way from their disheartening defeat against Garfield recently when the varsity coed tennis team claimed a 9-2 victory over Roosevelt High late last week.
