10-11 All Stars

Bainbridge Island opened state tournament play with a 4-3 win over Kent Saturday. In the next round, Bainbridge upended Woodinville West 11-1.

Bainbridge continued its win streak with a 10-0 win over West Seattle Tuesday.

Bainbridge was scheduled to take on Asotin County at 6:30 p.m. Thursday for a semifinal berth.

Majors All Stars

Facing an elimination game, Bainbridge blanked North Kitsap National 20-0 July 15. Bainbridge’s next match-up against Gig Harbor National Friday, however, went eight innings with Bainbridge coming out on top 3-2.

In the semifinals Saturday, Bainbridge rolled past South Kitsap Eastern 15-7 but fell to Gig Harbor American 7-3 in the District 2 championship Sunday.
