Baseball

• 9/10 All Stars: Bainbridge Island Blue edged South Kitsap Eastern 4-3 Friday. The Blue aslo defeated South Kitsap Western 8-5, but fell to North Kitsap National 8-3 Wednesday at Art Mickelson Field in Port Orchard. The Blue still have a shot at the championship. The team will take on the winner of South Kitsap Eastern-Bainbridge Gold at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Bainbridge Gold fell to North Kitsap National 6-5 Friday. The Gold rebounded with a 14-1 rout over North Kitsap American Saturday, and then trounced East Jefferson 13-3. The Gold went to extra innings against South Kitsap Western Tuesday, sealing the win 4-2 in the eighth inning. The Gold were scheduled to take on South Kitsap Eastern at 7:30 p.m Thursday.

•10/11 All Stars: Bainbridge topped North Kitsap American 9-0 Friday then defeated Gig Harbor American 15-1 Saturday. Thomas Crowley, pitching for Bainbridge, didn’t allow a hit until the fifth inning Friday. Bainbridge crushed South Kitsap Southern 21-2 Wednesday for a championship berth. Bainbridge will take on either South Kitsap Southern or Gig Harbor National at 6 p.m. Friday in Belfair.

•Majors All Stars: Bainbridge begins district play against East/South Jefferson at 12 p.m. Saturday. The winner will advance to play Sequim at 12 p.m. Sunday while the loser will play at 5 p.m. Monday at Ron Brentin Field in Gig Harbor.

Softball

•9/10 All Stars: Bainbridge fell to Gig Harbor American/National 10-1 Saturday. Bainbridge bounced back with a 7-4 win over Key Peninsula, and was scheduled to take on North Kitsap American Thursday.

• 10/11 All Stars: Bainbridge fell to Gig Harbor American/National 12-6 Monday and was scheduled to face the team again in a rematch Thursday.

•Majors All Stars: Bainbridge defeated North Kitsap American 12-2 in four innings Saturday. Shortstop Maddy Mikami and catcher Emma Lindsay both singled and scored two runs Monday, while center fielder Natalie Ackerly singled and scored three runs.

Pitchers Natalie Allen and Alyssa Estes threw in Bainbridge’s four-inning 15-5 win over Sequim Monday.

The team will play East Jefferson in the tournament semifinals Saturday.

All softball tournaments are held at James Standard Memorial Fields in Seqium.
