Due to rain, all 3A and 4A State Softball Championship games scheduled for today have been cancelled and rescheduled for play tomorrow at SERA Fields in Tacoma, possibly turning the tournaments into one-day events.

Defending 3A champion Bainbridge Island will play Capital at 1 p.m. Saturday. If the Spartans win, they will play the winner of the Mt. Spokane-Franklin Pierce game at 3 p.m.

The winners' semifinal games will be played at 6 p.m. Saturday, followed by the title game at 8 p.m. A loss to Capital would send BHS into the loser's bracket with a game at 6 p.m. Saturday.

Depending on the weather, 3A games are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., according to the new schedule released by the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association. An update on Saturday's games will be posted at 7 a.m. tomorrow on WIAA website.
