The Spartans rebounded from their first Metro loss with a 5-2 win over West Seattle in the league tournament Friday. Haylee Baker (6-1) earned the win and the Spartans (20-4) enter the SeaKing District Tournament as the Metro's third seed and will take on Ingraham – the eighth seed from the Metro – in an elimination game at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lower Woodland Park.

With a win, Bainbridge would play Mount Si – the second seed from the KingCo League – at 4 p.m. Thursday.

The top four teams from districts will advance to the state tournament.

But before Thursday's contest, Bainbridge will play its third game of the season against 4A Central Kitsap at 4 p.m. Monday. The teams have split their contests so far this season. Bainbridge won 1-0 in March while Central Kitsap evened the series with a 4-1 win May 7.
