Bainbridge cruised to a 26-0 first-round Metro tournament victory over Ingraham Wednesday. Bainbridge (19-3) took on Nathan Hale at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in the Metro semifinals.

In their last meeting on May 6, the Spartans defeated Nathan Hale 6-0 in six innings. With the win, Bainbridge will take on Holy Names or West Seattle in the Metro championship Friday.

The Spartans defeated fourth-ranked Holy Names 13-1 in their last meeting, and bested West Seattle 11-2.

Bainbridge led by six at the end of the first inning against Ingraham, then added 11 runs in the bottom of the second for a 17-0 lead. Bainbridge had 19 hits in the five-inning game.

Hailey Willmann improved to 5-0 on the season.
