Sports briefs | Bainbridge tennis wins fourth Metro dual

Tennis

The Spartans defeated Bishop Blanchet 10-1 Monday, improving to 4-1 in conference play.

Bainbridge has defeated its opponents by at least five points in its four Metro League duals since the team's 10-1 loss to Seattle Prep in the season opener.

Next up, Bainbridge hosts Lakeside at 3:30 p.m. Friday.

The Spartans have five league matches remaining before the post-season.

Bainbridge took on Nathan Hale and Cleveland Thursday.

The girls team took second with 40.5 points. Nathan Hale won the meet with 94 points, and Cleveland placed third with 23.5.

The boys team placed third with 47 to Nathan Hale's 54.5 and Cleveland's 51.5.
